THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a GS /05/06 SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D in SPMD 2543 and is part of the MO HHC 203D ENGINEER BATTALION.

APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This is an Indefinite Excepted Service position. This is a bargaining position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW.

• Responsible for providing technical assistance to subordinate units, the headquarters logistics section, or other staff sections concerning property accountability, logistics management, and maintenance management.
• Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property for units within the organization.
• Reviews and recommends disposition of requests for issue, turn-in, and lateral transfer of major end items of equipment (aircraft, tanks, trucks, weapons, etc.).
• Reviews current and future equipment authorization documents and provides recommendations for modification.
• Reviews current due-in status of back orders and identifies issues or problems.
• Performs audits of shortage/overage annexes to ensure all expendable/durable items are on hand, on valid requisitions, or turn-in actions have been initiated.
• Executes supply and maintenance discipline inspections and other like evaluations of subordinate logistical operations.
• Prepares or reviews convoy requests and transportation requests for movement of equipment and personnel.
• Prepares reports, schedules repair or maintenance, and requests replacement of GSA vehicles.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of ammunition requests.
• Coordinates and assists in the receipt, issue, and turn-in of ammunition and residue.
• Forwards reports of ammunition usage for reconciliation.
• Assists in the request, issue, and turn-in of medical supplies and equipment.
• Maintains hazardous materials handling and environmental safety certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
