TRAVEL - RN - L&D Birth Care Center - Wesley MC - 7A - 7P Hospital: Wesley Medical Center - LD (705) Location: Birth Care Suites (BCS) Address: 3222 E. Murdock Wichita, KS Floor: Unit: 70510 Building: 6 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Unit Specifics: Number of Beds - : 20 LDRP, 2 operating rooms Number of Staff - Type of staff: Day Shift - ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) Night Shift - Patient Ratios - : 1-2:1 labor, 3-4:1 postpartum Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): RN, CST nights, ACT (separate lactation RN team to support breastfeeding) Type of equipment - : GE fetal monitor, Monica Novii, alaris pumps EMR - Documentation system: CPN and Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 days/nights (all twelve-hour shifts) Floating policy: float within Women's units as needed Patient Experience requirements: Nurse leader rounding is performed daily to ensure our patients are receiving great care. We value 1:1 labor support and active positioning/management of labor. Our patients value the birthing center experience (less hospital-feel) and appreciate the continuity of care with their nurse from labor to postpartum care. We are a teaching hospital so we work with residents. We have a dedicated anesthesia team that only covers women's services. We have a Hospitalist available 24/7 to respond for oversight and emergencies if needed. We typically deliver babies per month at BCS (for a hospital total of /month). Our c/s rate averages
