As aWheel Technicianwith Dent Wizard, you'll use the latest tools and techniques to restore wheels and wheel covers –and we'll reward you with uncapped earning potential.We're hiring now inNewburgh, Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Nyack, Nanuet and Harriman, NY for a hard-working individual with the skills and outgoing personality to keep things rolling.

Working on site at customer locations, you'll fix cosmetic damages (curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation and bent wheels) using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids. The process involves removing the wheels, repairing them in your mobile truck and placing them back on the vehicle. Tasks include painting surfaces, inspecting wheels, prepping and buffing defects, mixing colors and finishing.

What You Need to Succeed

Auto painting experience or collision repair technical school training preferred but not requiredVision abilities including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusToughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weatherStrong organizational and communication skills to interact with customers and build accountsManual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasksStrong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independentlyPhysical stamina to kneel, bend, squat and climb, as well as lift up to 45 poundsValid driver's license and good driving record

Wheels

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This position is primarily paid on highly incentivized commission structure. The starting compensation is expected to be between $70,000 and $75,000 annually. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
