Visiting Assistant Professor of Theater (Acting)

Wabash College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Acting for the Fall 2024 semester, beginning July 1 and ending December 31, 2024. We seek an artist/educator with an active creative practice interested in exploring performance in a liberal-arts context. Responsibilities would involve either: teaching three courses in acting and physical performance at various levels and approaches; or teaching two such courses, and directing a production for our mainstage. We welcome applicants who also work in physical theater, new media, dance, voice, acting for the camera, and stage combat.

Qualifications

An MFA, PhD, or DFA with a focus in Acting or Directing is required. Previous college-level teaching experience and a minimum of five years of professional acting and/or directing experience are highly desirable.
