Saint Alphonsus is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nursefor our Orthopedic Joint Unit. This position will be located in Boise, Idaho and if full time nights.

**This position is eligible for a $7,5000 Sign On Bonus****May be eligible for relocation assistance depending on location**

The LPN colleague (licensed) provides safe, quality health care services & assistance to patients+ under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures.

+ "patients" refers to patients, clients, residents, participants, customer

The LPN licensed role (direct or indirect); Provides nursing interventions & participates in the planning, implementation & evaluation of care; Performs delegated focused / holistic care autonomously according to care plan; Administers medication & carries out the therapeutic treatment within scope of license (state & TH policy); Performs direct & essential care activities as part of an interdisciplinary team with a deeper understanding, including theoretical knowledge; Demonstrates a level of independence to perform activities with general oversight, through personal contributions, teamwork & initiatives to safely improve outcomes; Advocates for patient & informs/counsels patients & families about illness & care details.

General Requirements:

  • One year of LPN experience highly preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Licensed in the State of Idaho or Oregon – whichever is the employees primary work location - as a Practical Nurse (LPN) and as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
  • BLSis required at hire
