In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Department of Psychiatry at Banner University Medicine - Tucson is growing and actively interviewing for an Outpatient Pediatric Psychologist to join our clinical faculty in providing exceptional patient care. Join our full-time clinical faculty while partnering with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

The qualified candidate will join our collegial and highly trained faculty in the delivery of evidence-based care in a collaborative academic medical center. The candidate will have plenty of opportunities for teaching and supervision in our American Psychological Association-accredited doctoral clinical psychology internship program and with our graduate medical residents and fellows. Our psychology faculty are co-located with our psychiatry faculty, and collaboration across specialties is valued. Our department prioritizes working with primary care, other medical and surgical specialties, delivery of evidence based psychotherapeutic interventions, and ongoing professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong Assessment and evaluation skillsAbility to deliver evidenced-based psychotherapyAbility to function in a collaborative care modelCommitment to teaching and supervisionWhile not required, the department is prioritizing hires of candidates with clinical experience in child mental healthCurrent unrestricted Psychologist Arizona license, or application for Arizona licensure submitted at time of applicationCompletion of an APA- accredited internshipClinical experience preferred although we are open to highly qualified recent graduates Work ScheduleFull-time (M-F 8-5)Potential for in- person/tele hybrid scheduleNo Call Location: Banner University Medical Center E.
