Gastroenterology Locum Tenens Opportunity in Iowa

Due to a physician relocation, a healthcare facility in Iowa is seeking a Gastroenterology physician to provide ongoing coverage. This position offers Anesthesia support and focuses on general GI cases and procedures.
Practice Details:
- 5 other MDs, 5 APPs, Anesthesiologist, and full hospital/clinic staff for support
- Average volume of 2-3 procedures per day
- Charting: Epic
Schedule:
- Typically Friday - Friday, 7 AM - 7 AM
- 24-hour call for the dates the provider works
- 7-10 days need per month (ongoing)
Cases and Procedures:
- Perform rounding, consultations, procedures, and participate in call rotation
- General GI, including ERCP; EUS is not required
Travel and Lodging:
- Travel and lodging accommodations are provided
