Corps position will have the unique opportunity to support CDLT staff and gain skills in the following areas:

trail maintenance, trail planning and design, new trail construction, work crew training and development, weed monitoring and control, riparian and sagebrush steppe habitat restoration, trailhead monitoring, and participation in outreach and community engagement events.

The AmeriCorps member can also participate in Committee, Board, and staff meetings to learn about non-profit organizations and management.

The Director of Stewardship and Trails will also work closely with the members to identify at least one project of interest to gain technical skills and demonstrate leadership abilities.
