We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant (part-time) to support the Specialty Benefits Line of Business (LOB) by providing strategic guidance and operational oversight during a period of organizational transition. The consultant will work closely with CIOs and business stakeholders to ensure continuity and progress on key initiatives.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide interim strategic leadership and oversight for the Specialty Benefits LOBInteract with CIOs and business stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverablesSupport ongoing projects and initiatives, including M&A activities and platform migrationsEnsure the smooth operation of the team, ensuring resources are managed effectivelySupport ongoing security-related remediation and integration of platformsMaintain oversight of budget management and financial performanceProvide initiative management to meet stated objectives driving decisions by bringing multiple stakeholders together and ensuring execution Technical operations/portfolio managementCollaborative program and strategic planningManaging and driving decision in support of the technology priorities and initiatives

Required Qualification:

10+ years leading a tech organization, preferably within the Specialty Benefits sector

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven solid written and verbal communication skillsProven excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilitiesProven ability to navigate high-stress environments and manage multiple prioritiesProven strategic thinker with the ability to present information at an executive levelProven solid coaching and mentoring skills to develop next-level leaders

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
