Position Overview:
- Responsible for supporting various EHS programs and initiatives
- Overseeing Contractor Safety programs, managing Safe Work Permits, and facilitating the training of key programs such as confined space entry and lockout tagout
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, medical surveillance, and sustainability laws and regulations at different levels
- Participating in self-assessments, inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to maintain a safe work environment
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, medical surveillance, and sustainability regulations
- Developing and updating EHS programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintaining EHS reports and records
- Supporting various operational functions across the client's site
- Serving as a key contact for internal customers and cross functional groups
- Participating in EHS culture development
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in environmental studies, health & safety, science, or engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of EHS experience
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with incidents and/or learning systems databases
