JOB SUMMARY

This position in the financial department entails conducting cycle counts, maintaining records of inventory, investigating discrepancies in counts, and supporting the product recall process. Additionally, the role includes acting as a Will-call Clerk on designated Saturdays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and other assigned tasks.
  • Perform cycle counts in the warehouse at least four times a year to identify discrepancies and issues with product integrity.
  • Conduct quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items, and coordinate with Merchandising for resolution.
  • Investigate causes of weight discrepancies, receiving/put away issues, and damaged products in warehouse slots.
  • Proactively monitor First-in First-out (FIFO) items for proper rotation.
  • Validate reserves and pallet counts.
  • Review and verify put-away and transfer processes.
  • Document and execute product transfers within the warehouse.
  • Analyze inventory reports and investigate inventory shrinkage.
  • Manage will call orders as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Preferably 1 year of relevant experience

Professional Skills

  • Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with customers and associates.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations and problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
