Veris - Graphic Designer

Key Job Functions:

Develops and updates corporate and marketing assets that align with brand standards for all areas of the Veris business while maintaining a keen eye for detail to ensure a quality product.


• Creates collateral and marketing needs based on brand guidelines and existing collateral as directed. Examples of daily job functions include:

∞ Creating marketing materials including banners, temporary signage, flyers, etc.

∞ Updating graphics on the corporate website (Wordpress-based)

∞ Designing corporate presentations in PPT or InDesign

∞ Creating static images and animated gifs for social media

∞ Creating and resizing digital ads

∞ Designing and coding of HTML emails that go to customers

∞ Creating online surveys

∞ Retouching, re-sizing and manipulating images


• Is a corporate brand ambassador by providing creative information and direction to vendors and through collaboration with in-house teams to ensure assets meet Veris brand guidelines.


• Follows proofing process to ensure Veris brand compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:


• An understanding of brand narrative and storytelling, as well as a belief in the necessity and value of accuracy in regards to corporate branding.


• Strong eye detail – particularly for typography, layout, and color in regards to how it lends to the Veris brand.


• Always aspires for creative excellence.


• Photoshop pro and discerning eye for image selection.


• Solid understanding of web/mobile standards, responsive design, email, and social networks.


• Strong business acumen, smart, and a clear communicator.


• Embraces challenges, can multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate in project management software.


• Works well autonomously as well as part of a team.


• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft suite including PowerPoint.


• Roles at this level typically require a college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience at an agency or in-house environment. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation: $85k
