Swedish Medical Center is recruiting a FTE, board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Urologist to join the Pediatric Urology team that has been a part of the Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care team since 2001. This practice is part of a large multispecialty clinic that consists of Pediatric-trained providers in the fields of General Surgery, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Sports Medicine and Infectious Disease. This practice provides a strong referral base for prenatal consultations and newborns with urologic concerns. Swedish has a busy ambulatory surgical service with strong ties to the Primary Care practices in the region. There is a Level IV NICU, PICU and in-house Pediatric Hospitalist service to support inpatient care. Pediatric anesthesiologists and child life specialists provide experienced care to optimize patient safety and family experience. Swedish Medical Group has clinics that are located on the hospital campuses in downtown Seattle, Mill Creek (20 miles north of Seattle) and Issaquah (20 miles east of Seattle). In addition to outpatient clinic visits and consultations, this practice provides physician back-up for nurse-led calibrated uroflow and a nurse practitioner who has built a practice managing voiding dysfunction and constipation. The Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care is a multi-specialty clinic that consists of Pediatric-trained providers in Urology, General Surgery, GI, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Orthopedics and registered dieticians. Pediatric Cardiology also provides services at Swedish Medical Center. As the busiest high-risk delivery center in the Pacific Northwest, Swedish provides more than 12,000 deliveries each year. This provides a strong referral base for prenatal consultations and newborns with various congenital anomalies and renal concerns. With a strong primary care network and with access to a hospital that features a level IV NICU and a PICU, Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care can provide world-class care to patients all across the Pacific Northwest.
