This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent performs duties that involve technical planning, development, testing,

implementation, and management of systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.



Duties

As a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/DATAMGT) at the GG some of your typical work assignments may include:

  • Analyzes and defines data requirements and specifications; designs, normalizes, develops, installs, and implements databases.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains database management systems software; analyzes and plans for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements.
  • Makes decisions on lab scheduling based on events to avoid conflicts and provide efficient turnover between events.
  • Analyzes the security requirements for enterprise applications available in the C2 mission environment.
  • Selects, designs, operates, and performs maintenance of the Cyber and C2 Operational Development Division (C3OD2) information technology systems/tools.
