Summary

About the Position:

Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist within the 20TH CBRNE Command G6- Signal Section. The command is a premier response organization tailored to respond to a world-wide event involving Weapons of Mass Destruction. Incumbent is responsible for accomplishing any combination of tasks across the entire IT spectrum. Primary emphasis is on Customer Support, Information Assurance, and Information Technology Management.



Duties
  • Performs as an IT problem solver and advisor for CBRNE Automated Information Systems (AIS), applications and software.
  • Provides operational support for CBRNE customers on IT equipment, software, Automated Information Systems (AIS) and ancillary hardware such as printers, scanners, CAC Readers, and Video Tele-Conferencing (VTC) equipment.
  • Plans, coordinates, and schedules conferences for the Command Audio Visual Suite, Staff independent point-to-point VTC systems and all desktop computer VTC devices throughout the Command.
  • Resolves problems and conflicts with occasional uncooperative vendors/manufacturers when procured items do not meet with prescribed specifications.
