Associate Chaplain

The on-call Catholic Chaplain (Associate Chaplain) will be responsible for provision of pastoral care to patients, families and staff. Must have a Catholic background. The Priest must be someone who can administer the sacrament of the Catholic Church.
Work Location: Bethesda, MD
PRN – on call (flexible hours but mainly evenings/ nights/ weekends)
flexibility in hours. You should expect around 20 hours a week with a flexible schedule
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
College degree in psychology, sociology, counseling or Theological Studies
Completion of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, CPE
Graduate Theological Degree or equivalent (preferred)
Ecclesiastical endorsement (preferred)
Ordination as a minister in an organized faith tradition (preferred)
Board Certification with an accrediting agency such as the Association of Professional Chaplains, APC (preferred)
Three years' experience as a chaplain in a health care, military or hospice setting
