Light and Heavy-Duty Mechanic Responsibilities:


• Making equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, cars, vans, pickups, etc.


• Completing preventative maintenance e.g. engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters, etc.


• Maintaining vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints: conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components, repairing body damage


• Keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining supplies


• Other duties as assigned

Mechanic Requirements:


• A valid driver's license. CDL license is preferred but not required.


• At least 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic. (Light Duty)


• 2+ years of experience working on diesel/heavy-duty trucks. (Diesel)


• A high school education or equivalent.


• Advanced education in automotive repair is highly preferred but not required.


• Ability to comply with pre-employment background screening.

Uniforms provided...TOOLS ARE NOT.

Salary: $25.00 – 35.00 depending on experience and skill.
