The Nurse Manager will oversee a 25+ bed unit that focuses on an adult, inpatient population.
As the Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
The Nurse Manager will lead and guide the nursing staff, fostering excellence, compassion, and professionalism. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, conducting performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives. They will also facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to enhance outcomes.
What will make you stand out:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or currently enrolled, Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- National Certification in psychiatric nursing preferred.
