Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties on the GE 1.5 magnet. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical and computerized procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in execution of specific applications. Responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the medical staff. Is organized and able to perform several duties at once; is flexible enabling add-on requests to be completed as required. Position requires Call.

What qualifications you will need:
  • ARRT (MRI) required
  • Graduate from a Radiology Technologist Program
  • Florida State License in Radiologic Technology
  • One to three years of experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is located in the southern Orlando suburb of Lake Nona, known as Medical City. We are a newly opened hospital. Our hospital provides full-service healthcare to Osceola County and surrounding communities. We offer a wide range of specialties including 24/7 emergency care, womens care, and comprehensive surgical services, including robotic surgery. We are home to the Advanced Imaging Center and a Family Birthing Unit. We are committed to patient-centered care.
