Savan is looking for a strong Management Consultant to support government clients. The Management Consultant will be client-facing and critical to our delivery team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with senior-level management, working as a liaison between a client and an in-house technical team, gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders, developing and implementing governance processes, and supporting training and communications. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences (internal and client-facing, verbal and written) and develop compelling supporting documentation.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and apply critical thinking to a wide variety of complex problems.
  • Ability to coordinate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience developing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting them to clients professionally and effectively.
  • Assist in managing the prioritization of initiatives, Epics and operational activities and communicating these to a varied audience.
  • Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area's ability to support/meet organizational goals.
  • Experience with federal IT projects and records management.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders and developing those requirements into user stories.
  • Experience documenting and managing the governance of solutions.
  • Experience writing reports, briefings, training, and presentations.
  • Ability to complete individual tasks effectively, work in a team environment, and be proactive with little guidance.
  • Attention to detail in formulating project briefings, meeting minutes, communications, documentation, and other materials.
  • Experience implementing tools and frameworks to support clients' future-state business initiatives.
  • Proactive and willing to engage in a high degree of verbal and written communication to support the program manager and team in its delivery to the client.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three to five years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the EPA.
  • Familiarity with JIRA / requirements management tools.
  • Knowledge of records management regulations.
