Job Summary
The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky seeks to hire a full-time lecturer, non-tenure eligible, for a nine-month appointment. Previous teaching experience and professional accounting experience is desirable but not required. An MA, MS, MBA, or JD is required (a PhD in Accounting (or similar) is desired but notrequired). The primary job responsibilities include teaching 2-4 courses per semester inaccounting and fulfilling the service needs related to various programs in the school. The Director will determine the number of courses and other assigned duties based on the candidate's experience and areas of expertise. The assignment may be adjustedannually based on needs and performance. The start date is flexible (August of 2024 or

The Von Allmen School of Accountancy offers an outstanding scholarly environment and offers excellent support for both research and teaching.
