Title: Finance Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary

In this role of Finance Analyst, you will be providing financial planning and analysis for the Retail Industry's NAMER team. Looking for an energetic, team player with a strong technical accounting and finance background as well as experience providing decision support to an executive level audience.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide seamless financial decision analysis support to NAMER team
  • Work closely with Revenue Recognition team to ensure correct revenue entries including carves and bill & holds
  • Assist in the consolidation of weekly OCR and monthly forecast and present to leadership
  • Work closely with cross functional team to consolidate the annual plan
  • Budgets and forecasts are typically highly complex, including monthly/quarterly forecasts, midyear business reviews and annual budgets.
  • Consistently look at process and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining
  • Provides in-depth analytical support and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Design, prepare and interpret forward looking business/financial models and other special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills; Financial modeling experience
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data (i.e. Macros, Pivot Tables)
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management including senior corporate leadership
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications -- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
