About this job... Venue hosts are often the first smiling face the guest sees when arriving to the club. Responsible for ensuring quick, engaging, and effective communication with guests, the host plays a critical role in overall guest satisfaction. Hosts must maintain communication with restaurant management and servers and seat guests according to their ticket purchase and availability. What you'll be doing...Review ticket platform ahead of doors opening to determine capacity level, develop a plan for efficiently welcoming guests, and set reserved signs as needed to get guests seated according to the evening's sales - including any special activations – private parties, meet and greets etc.
Review the evening's artist requirements and be prepared to answer questions or direct artists and their teams to the correct person for assistance;
Provide each guest an individualized greeting using charisma and stylized communication;
Purposefully navigate and seat each guest with respect to individual requests and type of ticket purchased;
Warmly respond to email questions consistent with brand standards, thoughtfully consider each guest inquiry, and provide accurate information or assistance;
Maintain alert and engaged posture to promote a sense of activation and luxury in the pre-function area;
Effectively communicate with venue staff and management to ensure quality guest experiences and smooth venue operation;
Complete additional duties as assigned.
Requirements...Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills;
Speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace;
Stand and walk constantly throughout the workday;
Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the workday.
