Requirements:

  • Industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineer, maintenance planner or mechanic/electrical supervisor. with extensive experience in maintenance, and reliability.
  • Specialization courses, diplomas, seminars or certifications in Spare Parts Management, Maintenance, Plant Reliability, Manufacturing or Operations.

Expertise:

Maintenance of crushers, conveyors, Concentrators (Mills, Screens, Pumps, Cyclones, Flotation, etc.), Filter Plants, Tailings, Leaching, Solvent Extraction, Electrowinning, and Open Pit Mining operations including mobile equipment.


  • Identification and recognition of spare parts and components and "where used" in the process equipment.
  • Evaluation of spare parts for condition and fitness for service.
  • Understanding of spare parts storage requirements and maintenance during storage.
  • Spare parts management to help improve reliability.
  • Experience with ISO14224 for plant/equipment taxonomy, and spare parts taxonomy and use of standardized abbreviations such as ASME Y14.38
  • P&IDs, OEM Manuals/Portals, and other technical documentation.

Technical Skills:

  • Use and/or implementation of the maintenance module in SAP or other ERP.
  • Cataloging and material master data enrichment.
  • Master Data management.
  • At least intermediate Excel expertise.
  • SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
  • Elaboration of policies, standards and procedures manuals, user manuals, system operation instructions, etc.
  • Analysis, diagnosis, improvement, and implementation of processes.
  • Project Management.

English:
Fluent (Advanced)

Spanish:
Desirable but not essential.
