The Role

As a Structural Substation Engineer at Black & Veatch, you'll have the chance to:

  • Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve complex problems
  • Expand your knowledge and expertise in your field
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on exciting global projects
Key Responsibilities

Engineering Standards:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations
  • Ensure quality and compliance in all engineering tasks
  • Provide guidance and support to team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Project Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal and external teams on project execution

Client Focus:

  • Understand and address client needs and concerns
  • Support business development activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid PE license
  • Experience in designing utility-scale electrical substations
  • Structural design expertise in steel structures and foundations
  • Proficiency in 3D analysis and design software
  • Strong skills in using engineering software and tools
Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you need a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. You must also meet pre-employment requirements.
