Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Intelligence development experience
  • In-depth knowledge of PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI service
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis, including SSIS
  • Experience in working with large and complex datasets from various sources
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design effective PowerBI solutions and SSRS reports
  • Excellent data visualization skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on usability and user experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    Responsibilities:
    • Create high-quality data visualizations and analytics content to support strategic priorities and provide insights for day-to-day business needs.
    • Develop, standardize, and simplify the business intelligence inventory of reports, promoting shared data understanding across the organization.
    • Produce professional-quality business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics content primarily using PowerBI, as well as SSRS reports.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
    • Consult with colleagues and end-users regularly to identify and resolve gaps in BI offerings and data accessibility.
    • Document use cases and usage best practices associated with BI tools and resources for the community.
    • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, working with stakeholders to address them.
    • Develop complex Power BI data models for accurate and efficient data analysis and visualization.
    • Create and maintain data connections and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
    • Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards by tuning queries, implementing efficient data models, and applying best practices.
