Job Summary
The eSports coaches are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the high school eSports program including, mentorship, and program development.
strong background in eSports coaching, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to
fostering the athletic and personal growth of student-athletes and appreciation of the sport.
Works closely with student-athletes to develop good character on and off the field. Assists
teachers, counselors, and other school personnel with student-athlete attendance,
academics, and behavior in and out of eSports season. We are looking for three different
coaches that will work together. One will be for FPS games like Overwatch 2, Valorant,
Rainbow Six Siege, Counter Strike 2, Fortnite, etc. One will be for fighting games like
Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Street Fighter 6, Brawlhalla. And one will be for other titles
like Minecraft, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Chess, Rocket League, League of Legends, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an eSports coach or player at the high school or collegiate level
- Strong knowledge of eSports techniques, strategies, and rules
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other days required by the athletic
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
