Gentry and Bierbaum of Traci Gentry DVM LLC are seeking a full-time or part-time equine veterinarian to join our dynamic 2-doctor team.
We are a well established clinic conveniently located in South Overland Park, KS, 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City.
We are proud to serve our neighbors and surrounding communities by offering a wide variety of high quality veterinary services.
Our clinic utilizes new diagnostic and treatment equipment including an electronic medical database, two digital x-ray units, 3m and 1.5 m portable endoscopy, digital ultrasound, wide variety of regenerative medicine and dentistry equipment.
We also have a great working relationship with the local referral hospital for surgery or intensive care patients.Missouri University, Kansas State University and Iowa State University are all within a 3 hour drive as well for referrals.
We do not overnight colics for medical management.We are a compassionate and collaborative team that knows the importance of a work life balance. Emergency on call only one night per week and rotate Friday night and weekends.
Our competitive compensation package includes a base salary, bonus, SIMPLE IRA with 3% match, paid time off, yearly CE paid in full, PLIT insurance, license fees and association dues.
A fully equipped vehicle is provided for ambulatory services. Technicians and office staff are available to provide full support.DVM/VMD or equivalent, eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri is required. Must have practiced for a least a year in general practice or post equine internship. Applicant must be competent with sports medicine, lameness evaluation, joint injections, breeding, and embryo transfer. Must enjoy collaborative medicine and teamwork
