Within BJ's consolidation facility, responsible for performing quality control and asset protection duties including: (1) auditing all perishable and frozen styles and reconciling selection variances in accordance with company policies and procedures; (2) validating cases packs and expiration dates; (3) monitoring loading sequences of each club shipment to ensure product integrity; (4) data entering PO's and shipping variances; (5) sealing trailers and ensuring well-built pallets leave the warehouse for receipt at the clubs. Perform random sampling of Frozen, Dairy, Meat and Produce shipments and report findings to the onsite Quality Control Supervisor. Monitor loading sequence of each shipment to ensure product integrity. Data enter purchase orders for shipping variances, enter seal and trailer info Validate case pack and expiration date detail to ensure proper rotation, inventory and club satisfaction.


Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of one year of quality control experience in a distribution warehouse environment. In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.50.
