Experience needed:

· Very proficient with MS Outlook (needs to know how to attach documents to emails, etc.)

· Very proficient with MS Excel (needs to know how to set up spreadsheets and sort data)

· Must know basic Excel formulas (how to sum, how to add non-adjacent cells into a total, etc.).

· Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite; (Excel, Word and the technical aptitude to learn all company-specific programs and software applications.

· Education: High School Diploma, Associates Degree, and or B.A.

· Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.

· Assist in the completion of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

· Knowledge and skills of bookkeeping practices and procedures.

· Ability to perform and work with general ledger, trial balances, and preparation of financial statements.

· Assist with general office tasks including filing, faxing, copying, data entry, etc.

· Processes payroll weekly-biweekly, reimbursements for expenses, and any necessary adjustments.

· Perform high-level accounting functions and financial tasks with the ability to track company accounts and ensure data integrity standards

· Coding payables and entering payables

· Making timely payments to vendors by both check and draft

· Payable reports weekly and as needed

· Fleet Management: Vehicle lease and note payable schedule maintenance and reporting.

· Maintain vehicle and equipment records

· Maintain payables files

· Basic financial reports such as Income Statement and Balance Sheet

· General Ledger maintenance and reconciliation

· Responsible for supervising data entry by other accounting staff

· Working with owner to develop and maintain accounting processes

· Sales Tax reporting and maintenance
