Duties
  • Plan work assignments on a weekly and monthly basis by establishing deadlines, priorities, and work sequences.
  • Monitor employees engaged in testing, troubleshooting, and final adjustment of sub-assemblies, assemblies, and components used in electronic systems.
  • Evaluate work operations, identify opportunities for process improvement, and resolve controversial quality rejects with other managers.
  • Determine resource and material requirements needed to accomplish work.
  • Inspect a variety of complex electronic systems and related industrial processes to determine root cause of persistent problems.
  • Determine training needs, set performance standards, and make formal appraisals of subordinates.
