You will serve a Lead Contract Specialist in the CVN Support (Code 427), Amphib Contract Admin (Code 430), Contracts Department (Code 400), of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center located in Norfolk, Virginia.

You will perform post-award functions on contracts awarded internally or assigned to the command for full contract administration by other DOD departments or agencies under the DOD plant Cognizance Program.

You will provide lead duties to approximately 5-6 employees (i.e, GS-12s and interns), articulate, and communicate to the team assignment, project, problem to the solved, priority events, milestones, and/or program issues under review and deadlines.

You will monitor contract technical performance over the life of the contracts and issue correspondence or other direction to contractors to resolve problems.
