Expectations not limited to:
- Direct all operations for Ouachita's NCAA Division II men's tennis program. Develop, implement, and maintain team policies and procedures that go along with athletic department guidelines.
- Under NCAA rules and regulations and in concert with the Ouachita admissions department, establish and maintain recruiting operations to attract high-quality student-athletes.
- Foster a challenging atmosphere promoting academic and athletic success to allow for maximum personal development.
- Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the department and the university, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, the Great American Conference, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, and any other authorities that govern the intercollegiate athletics program.
- Develop, engage, and maintain relationships with alumni and friends of the program.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for day-to-day operations of the Kim and Craig Ward Tennis Center, which includes four indoor courts, six outdoor courts, a pro shop, office spaces for men's and women's tennis, and an indoor multi-purpose area that serves as a seating area during indoor matches. Work collaboratively with women's tennis and other campus departments for scheduling practices, matches, camps, and other events.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and at least five years of related experience.
- Working knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules. Must pass mandated NCAA coaches training and rules test.
