Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • Minimum 2 Years' Experience
  • Must have travel experience (no 1st time travelers)
  • Skills: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry.
  • NIH
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • CCRN and PALS preferred

  • Float required
  • Target Ratios: 1:2-3. Could fluctuate based on unit needs/surges
  • Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 yearsTraveler Experience: Must have travel experience (no 1st time travelers)Locals Accepted : YesSkills: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry.Certs: ACLS, BCLS and NIH.
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:CCRN and PALS.
JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:2-3. Could fluctuate based on unit needs/surges.Shift: 12HR NIGHTS36 hours can be offered.Will accept week contracts.
Float Requirement: Float required - will be included in a float rotation schedule and will float to Med Surg to help cover when needed. In crisis needs, traveler may be asked/required to float to other units to assist with care as well.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Medical and surgical intermediate and critical care level patients.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE:Unit leadership schedules per needs.
UNIT ORIENTATION:12 hoursHospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS:Navy blue or white or combination of navy/white
INTERNAL NOTES Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not RequiredFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
