Are you a systems engineer looking to join a fun team in a supportive environment? Initially this program, when awarded, will be full-time onsite with a potential hybrid option after a few months.
For this activity, you may perform task such: analyze system requirements and data flows to determine system performance sizing and storage capacities; perform high availability system design and analysis; create physical and logical architecture diagrams; design and create detailed designs, support software and system test development and software and systems test activities.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience preferred or equivalent education/work experience
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Software engineering experience across the entire development lifecycle
- Object Oriented Design
- JAVA
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with issue tracking systems, such as JIRA
- Experience with requirements analysis and development
- Experience in supporting software and systems testing
- Team player with proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
- Tracking and provided software task status
- Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- C++
- SAFe Agile development methodology
- Software Architectures (e.g., REST Web Services, Publish Subscribe)
- Entity Framework experience
- Strong knowledge of concurrency
- Experience with any of Distributed Systems, Multi-threaded systems, or Military systems or simulations
- Route finding algorithm development
- Managing small software teams, scheduling and tracking software tasks
- Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
