The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with commercial leases, including:

  • Draft, revise and negotiate real estate letters of intent, leases, renewals, assignments, amendments and termination for tenants, as well as ancillary real estate documents (subordinations, NDA's, estoppels, etc).
  • Resolve landlord/tenant and property management issues.
  • Draft/negotiate commercial construction/vendor contracts, brokerage/commission agreements, and employment agreements.
  • Efficiently oversee external legal teams.
  • Act as lead counsel in purchase and sale transactions.
  • Existing Tenant management - support leasing, property management, accounting and other company staff in enforcement of the lease.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Florida and active member of the Florida bar.
  • 5 year legal experience, including substantial experience in real estate handling commercial leasing and related matters.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation experience with opposing counsel, as well as direct with tenants and contractors.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and property maintenance regulations.
