Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing State and Federal tax filings
  • Maintain master payroll records
  • Distribute weekly and monthly payroll checks
  • Review paychecks for accuracy and rectify errors
  • Union reporting skills are preferred
  • Process garnishments
  • Maintain direct deposit files
  • Provide payrollrelated assistance to field offices, employees, and other individuals
  • Support various administrative functions within the Payroll Department

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with payroll principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strongly desired experience with JDEdwards
  • Detailoriented and able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Energetic, reliable, selfmotivated, teamoriented individual with a professional demeanor, capable of handling confidential information
