Job Summary:
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee our billing department. The Billing Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and leading a team of billing specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing within the tax resolution or related industry and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of billing specialists.Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, set goals, and address any issues.Provide training and development opportunities for team members.Billing Operations:Oversee the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.Monitor billing cycles and workflows to identify and resolve discrepancies or delays.Implement and maintain billing procedures and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.Review and approve invoices before they are sent to clients.Handle complex billing issues and client inquiries, providing resolution in a professional manner.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular billing reports and financial summaries for management review.Analyze billing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.Assist in budget preparation and financial planning related to billing operations.Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including finance, client services, and legal, to ensure seamless billing operations.Collaborate with the collections team to monitor and manage outstanding invoices and accounts receivable.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Experience in the tax resolution industry or a related field is highly preferred.Strong understanding of billing and invoicing procedures, accounting principles, and financial reporting.Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:
