We are a family-owned business that has provided innovative milking and manure handling solutions within the dairy industry since 1989. We currently operate out of eight offices across five midwestern states, and maintain a small, tight-knit team.

We offer competitive hourly wages from $18 - $35/hr depending on experience, plus benefits including 401(k) with match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, overtime pay, on-call double pay, and bonus opportunities.

What you will be doing:

  • Install and service various dairy equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs
  • Provide after-hours support and communication to customers
  • Maintain and operate work vehicle
  • Drive to customer sites to perform necessary work
  • Maintain a clean workspace and shop
  • Be available for on-call shifts per the assigned schedule

What we're looking for:

· Understanding of conventional and robotic milking and manure handling equipment (GEA, Lely)

· Ability to troubleshoot air compressors and commercial refrigeration systems

· General knowledge of dairy production systems and processes (CIP, milk handling, vacuum, cow care, etc)

· Fabrication and welding (Plasma table, lathe, TIG, MIG, stick)

· Ability to create 2D drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)

· Ability to read and understand prints, diagrams, manufacturing packets, and manuals

· Ability to read and comprehend various prints and schematics (electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic)

Other qualifications:

· Agricultural background and/or knowledge

· Ability to maintain and/or change focus in fast-paced, time-sensitive projects

· Experience with hand and power tools

· Broad mechanical aptitude

· Ability to work independently and in a team

· Positive attitude with problem-solving mindset and great attention to detail

· Valid driver's license with clean record
