Software Development Engineer III

Our team is looking for a Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. This role is crucial for integrating these powerful tools into our existing platform to revolutionize the travel experience for millions globally. If you are passionate about building a smart, scalable, and personalized communications platform, this position will offer you the canvas to innovate. You will work alongside a creative engineering team, designing and implementing the platform's various components in collaboration with product teams. Your contribution will enhance our ultimate customer experience, meeting customers on their preferred channel, whether it's Email, SMS, or Push.

What you will do:

  • Develop and integrate Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement the development of custom solutions, custom activities, APIs, including Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce, to extend the functionality of the Salesforce platform and address unique business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce solutions with other systems and platforms.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features and capabilities, identifying and mitigating risks in project execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Who are you:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and integrating Salesforce solutions in complex business environments.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or similar credentials.
  • Strong background in data architecture, customer data strategy, and real-time interaction management.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
