Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations

located in Northfield, Vermont, seeks a Vice President of
Development and Alumni Relations (VPDAR) who is an experienced and
innovative individual who will embrace the collegiality of the
campus community and collaborate on a variety of campus-wide
initiatives designed to further its success while honoring the
traditions of this robust institution.
The VPDAR will assist in fulfilling the mission of Norwich
University by leading all advancement-related efforts for the
institution, including outreach and new prospect development;
annual, major gift, and planned gift fundraising; alumni and
constituent engagement; corporate and foundation relations; and
stakeholder and volunteer development. The VPDAR will take office
no later than September 1, 2024.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required, an
advanced degree is preferred as well as fundraising-related
training and certifications. A minimum of seven (7) years of
progressively responsible leadership and managerial experience who
understands Norwich University's mission and values and is familiar
with military culture; has a proven track record in successful
principal and major gift fundraising with high-net wealth
individuals; and has a broad understanding of the various roles,
functions, and responsibilities of the different units within an a
