Job SummaryThis role is responsible for maintaining and servicing the barn related areas and requires a skilled troubleshooter.This individual should offer new ideas while being conscientious, self-starting, and strive for excellence in all areas.Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee Livestock Procurement CPS System
  • Ensure harvest cattle kill lineup accuracy and consistency
  • Utilize online software programs (CPS and Shop Floor) as well as facility cameras.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments and external regulatory agencies (USDA)
  • Facilitate written process updates / SOPs / forms to ensure best practices
  • Manage and supervise hourly employees
  • Responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees
  • Ensures area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs.
  • Manage the receiving, housing and scheduling of live cattle for harvest to include Ante-mortem inspection and documentation for USDA.
  • Manage the barn area to include cleaning,feeding supplies procurement,and cattle placement.
  • Harvest cattle in accordancewith humane handling.
  • SOP and HACCP requirements including proper documentation.Position requires 2 -5 years direct or related experience.Understanding and Knowledge of Shop Floor and CPSDetail OrientedEOE/M/F/VET/DISABLED
