Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Lead Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a team of employees who are compassionate, kind and deliver high quality, patient centered care. We work hard to support each other and the patients are the center of all we do.

In this role:

  • You will manage and coordinate all daily operations including patient exams, personnel schedules, and physician services within the Mammography department.
  • You will provide technical leadership within the department and therefore this position requires extensive Mammography knowledge and skills.
  • You will be responsible for assuring that all regulations set forth by the MQSA / ACR and the FDA are maintained.
  • You will be expected to independently direct workflow, facilitate employee, patient or physician complaints / concerns and uses sound professional judgment to recommend action related to such matters.
  • You will actively participate with interviewing and hiring and are responsible for training employees of the Mammography department.
  • You will be responsible for keeping up with current technological advancements in order to recommend and /or implement new protocols.
What qualifications you will need:
  • ARRT (Registered) required
  • Graduation from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 3-5 years' experience preferred
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
