Collections Analyst

Location: White Plains, NY

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

· Strong Excel skills to handle aging reports and AR analysis

· Comfortability with skip tracing process for collections

· Responsible for high volume of collection calls utilizing ERP software.

· Review and contact past due customer accounts to resolve delinquencies and ensure prompt payment

· Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and determine collectability of past due accounts

· Resolves debits, credits, unapplied cash and other deductions or discrepancies

· Assists in reducing DSO (days sales outstanding)

· Interfaces with various intercompany departments to resolve credit issues and disputes regarding shipments, products, or purchase order discrepancies

· Handles all customer account maintenance, files, and customer's vendor data requirements

· Collections calls and emails (phone calls and collecting full amount of payment or setting up payment plan)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

· 5+ years of AR / Collections experience

· Experience working with web billing portals, new customer evaluations, credit limits, and past dues.

· Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with ERPs (Oracle, Dynamics 365, Great Plains, Concur, etc.)
