Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for a Laboratory Technician based in the Tomball, TX Technology Center. This role will provide analytical testing support for the Customer Analytical Services Laboratory.

Position Title: Laboratory Technician

Essential Responsibilities General Responsibilities

Perform daily analyses per Standard Operating Procedures guidelinesMeet established due dates for all work assignedEnsure quality of all results through adherence to the Quality Management System requirementsFollow all EHS policies and proceduresProvide support for other laboratory areas as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements

Associates degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related fieldAnalytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or techniquesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent computer skills including both Google and MS Office products
Desired Characteristics

B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related sciencePrior experience performing analyses for industrial water or process systemsExperience using a LabWare or similar LIMSExperience working in an ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organizationSkilled in one or more of the following areas: spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, microscopy, electrochemistry, filtrations, extractions, gravimetry, chromatography
