Position Summary
The Department of Marketing and Management at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for a Lecturer in Marketing. The teaching load will include 12 credit hours (typically four courses) each fall and spring of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in advertising and marketing. Faculty may also be required to teach evening, weekend, off-site, and/or online courses. Summer teaching is voluntary and compensated separately. Lecturers are also expected to participate in service activities to the department, school, campus, or community, such as regularly attending and participating in faculty meetings and serving on relevant committees.

Basic Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications


• Masters (or higher) degree from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited business school with a specialization in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

• Strong ability to teach effectively in a variety of Advertising and Marketing courses.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Proven record of developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, integrated marketing communication plans, or social media plans.

• Three or more years of industry, governmental, or institutional experience in fields like digital marketing, advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, or e-commerce

Preferred Qualifications


• Five or more years of total work experience in marketing fields

• Teaching experience in fields like digital marketing may be used to calculate two years of total work experience.

• Relevant industry certification(s) in digital advertising and marketing fields.

• Demonstrated success working with diverse faculty and student populations.

• Active engagement with community
