Job Description:

As a leader in this role, you will be fully responsible for managing a team of maintenance experts, technicians, engineers, and contractors who handle major maintenance tasks. You will oversee both internal and external resources to ensure successful completion of all major maintenance activities, focusing on safety, environmental standards, quality, timing, and cost adherence.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Take overall responsibility for developing internal employees and managing their performance
  • Handle all cost accounting tasks, such as variance analysis, standard cost establishment, activity-based costing, and inventory management
  • Emphasize streamlining operations by implementing lean maintenance methods and standardized procedures
  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules
  • Ensure team activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferably holds an MBA and an Engineering degree
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience with combined cycle power plants is a plus
