Serves as Chief of a Line of Business (LOB) in the formation of goals, policies, and strategic planning to ensure that DISA-driven information technology policies and objectives are achieved for standardization and consolidation.
Establishes goals and objectives, long- and short-range planning, and strategic plans, which address and meet the information requirements of Department of Defense customers in the LOB in geographically separated, but a heterogeneous environment.
Exercises responsibility for fiduciary and fiscal planning oversight related to the managed Line of Business.Analyzes Line of Business portfolios from a cost, capacity, and forecast perspective, and evaluates new technologies and applications.
Briefs Senior Executives and General Officers regularly on Line of Business programs, services, tasks, and initiatives.
Represents the Line of Business in conferences, committees, and higher-level meetings to include the Department of Defense, DISA, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, other Federal Agencies, and commercial industry, among others.
Sets broad objectives, monitors subordinate employees' performance in providing Line of Business services, reviews accomplishments, and takes appropriate corrective action when deficiencies are noted-
