Summary

This position is located in the Women's Health/Inpatient within the Division of Nursing Services of the Crownpoint Service Unit, Crownpoint, New Mexico. The purpose of this position is to provide clerical and technical support for the supervisor and work unit in order to promote and maintain the efficient functioning of the unit.



Duties
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and reimbursement for meetings and conferences.
  • Distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Ensures the confidentiality of the department and patients
  • Assist in maintaining unit policy and procedure manuals, memoranda and training books.
  • Maintains the accuracy of the Time and Attendance
  • Prepares and submits official timecards.
  • Types the unit work schedules and distributes to other departments.
  • Prepares and submits requisition forms for needed equipment, supplies, and contracts which includes off scheduled and special order items.
  • Maintains the commitment registry. Maintains and assist in decentralized budget preparation.
  • Assists in maintains the levels of supplies and the functioning of automated equipment/supplies.
