About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who will successfully manage projects to ensure that our deployments are delivered on time and produce the desired results. In this role, you will be orchestrating all project-related activities, managing timelines, and bringing the required resources to support the project's success (both from Carbyne and its partners). You will be responsible for the successful day-to-day relationship between customers, partners, and Carbyne and work with relevant team members to create any required documentation requests. You will be meeting the customer regularly, focused on client-facing procedures with key interface points with internal stakeholders and technical teams.

Here's what you'll be working on

  • Manage all operations/technical activities and collaborate with all the different 3rd party vendors to meet the customer expectations.
  • Define the scope of future projects, pilots, ad-hoc activities and bring the relevant resources to support the business need.
  • Create and manage methods of management, communication plans, and processes - Internally and externally with the customers and the 3rd party vendors.
  • Host technical project meetings with clients to keep them informed of milestones and project status.
  • Make sure that all required activities are completed on time, in the expected timeline towards meeting customer expectations.
  • Architect solutions in a collaborative manner and manage customer expectations, project schedules, and determine resource needs
  • Create Statement of Work (SOW) and project plans
  • Facilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders, including regular reports.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks
  • Manage scope changes
  • Collaborate with additional project resources to ensure smooth deployments to meet project expectations
  • Provide process improvement recommendations that are based on best practices and industry standards.


Requirements

You might be a great fit if

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in project management
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to head off obstacles proactively
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional groups and drive decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10% - domestically)

  • Experience in Esinet and I3
  • Experience in cloud concepts knowledge
  • Experience in cloud based deployments
  • Technical Bachelors' or Masters degree
  • PMP Certification
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with B2G organizations within the Public Safety Sector (either in a vendor customer relationship, or directly working for those organizations)
